Basketball season officially begins tonight as the Lake Highlands girls play at Princeton starting at 7:30 p.m.
"They are a gutsy team and very athletic and strong," LH coach Holly Mulligan said of Princeton. "They always advance to the playoffs and usually go deep in the playoffs. It is a great first game to get the girls excited about the season and start with great competition."
LH is led this year by returning players Tierra Scott, Samantha Couch, Hannah Wedding, Kosi Ekwu and Bridget O’Brien.
