The Wildcat cheerleaders topped off their successful White Out campaign by presenting Healing Hands Ministries with a check for $1,200 at halftime of the football game Friday night. On hand were the Walne family, owners of Herb’s Paint and Body and sponsors of the t-shirts sold in the fundraiser. Healing Hands founder Janna Gardner and board members Sylvia Bodell and Mark Wingfield were grateful to receive the donation, which will help their mission to provide health and dental care to families in need all over Lake Highlands.

It was too cold an evening for most in the crowd to show off their white tees – coats covered the cheerleaders’ great idea. But a last minute donation of white pompons by T. Hee Greetings and Highlands Café gave the visiting Rams a view of our sea of white which led, no doubt, to the Cats’ victory.
