LHHS 2007 grad Meredith Alloway will play Little Stone in SMU’s Meadows Performance Season production of Eurydice. Playwright Sarah Ruhl, winner of a MacArthur Foundation Genius Grant, tells a modern version of the classic Greek myth of Orpheus, told from Eurydice’s point of view.

Meredith, a junior at SMU, offers comic relief as one of three Eumenides delegating the Underworld in which Eurydice is trapped. Meredith last shared her comic talents with LH audiences in her role as vixen secretary Hedy LaRue in the LHHS production of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. She also played Mary Warren in The Crucible, frighteningly convincing as the girl who leads others to cry “witch.”
