Spend a little bit of your Halloween day at the Red Cat Consignment Store, 718 Buckner Blvd near the Green Spot, and help a kid. Here’s how: pick up an extra child size 6-10 Halloween costume (they’re all marked down by now, after all) and bring it to the shop between 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday.
Shop owners will then donate the costumes to sick children through The Princess Alexa Foundation, which is holding a dress-up drive. Wear your own costume when you make the drop and get a chance at winning the adult costume contest, and bring kids for caramel apples, “bat wings” and bunches more.
