Who knew that the Burger House guys pulled in $4.2 million a year in sales revenue last fiscal year, along with $2 million in franchise fee revenue during the same period? That’s a lot of burgers, fries and shakes at the store’s iconic Hillcrest and Mockingbird locations, along with the Marsh and Campell stores and the expanding network of restaurants in Tyler, Rockwall, Austin and beyond.

The Dallas Business Journal reports in a recent story that Angelo Chantillis Jr. and Chris Canellos tried franchising on their own first, but decided instead to farm that aspect of the business to a third-party firm. And it seems to be working: The goal is to have 100 Burger Houses throughout the country, many in college towns, within 10 years.
