The 2-1, regionally ranked Wildcats don’t play this week, but we’re getting ready for next week’s district opener against Skyline at the Boneyard. We’ll have our usual features this week and next, leading up to the game, though we won’t have The Prediction Line or the Wildcat Sports Report this week.
What we will have next Wednesday is the first live version of the Wildcat Sports Report, from Picasso’s Pizza at Walnut Hill and Skillman. The show starts at 6:30 p.m. and all are welcome. Host Keith Whitmire will have several special guests, and football coach Scott Smith will talk about last week’s rainy victory over Garland and what to expect against Skyline. Picasso’s will have a couple of Sports Report special menu offers, and it should be a lot of fun. If you miss the live version, we’ll post the video on the sports blog next Thursday.
