The Lake Highlands United Methodist Church youth choir left yesterday for their annual tour singing at churches, retirement homes, and anyplace else that’ll have them. When they’re not performing for live audiences, they’ll have fun at Walt Disney World, relax on Clearwater Beach, and visit the Big Cat Rescue Facility in Tampa.

Their trip was funded by donations from the community, and they said thank you with “Dessert and a Show” at the church before they left. They also practiced their act on the residents of CC Young, to the delight of the retirement home crowd there. They’ll return, tanned and spiritually rejuvenated, in a few days.
