The first will be this Friday morning, April 10, at the weekly Exchange Club of Lake Highlands breakfast. After everyone fills their plates, the forum will start at 7:20 a.m., with each candidate given five to 10 minutes to talk about himself and his platform. After that, Exchange Club member-submitted questions will be asked, with each candidate given a couple of minutes to answer.
Another forum is being hosted by the Lake Highlands-area Precinct 2207 Democratic chairs, on Sunday, April 19, from 2:30-4 p.m. at 8051 Westover. The precinct is inviting people to email questions.
The following day, Monday, April 20 at 7 p.m., the Lake Highlands Area Improvement Association will be hosting a forum at the Dallas Children’s Theater. LHAIA president Jack White is asking for question submissions that will be given to the forum moderator (none other than Advocate publisher Rick Wamre), but the candidates will not be briefed on the questions in advance.
