Beginning August 25th, 2009, Lake Highlands North Rec Center will start an after-school program, including pickup from Northlake Elem., LH Elem, White Rock Elem and Merriman Park.
The cost will be $40 per week or $120 per month, with a Dallas Park and Recreation ID card. Hours will be 2:45 to 6:00 PM.
It is great there will be an affordable program to help working parents with child care after school. I hope it will succeed and maybe even strengthen neighborhood bonds, plus get more people using the Rec Center.
