Lake Highlands High School’s National Honor Society will host a community blood drive from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. on Wednesday in the school library. The goal, says Katie Mottram, co-sponsor of the honor society, is to collect 100 units of blood. Photo ID is required to enter the building and donate blood, and LHHS seniors who donate twice this year can earn a special red cord to wear at graduation ceremonies.
Donors can register before the drive, or do it at the high school the day of the drive.
