A chill is in the air; the sun sets long before I get home in the evenings; and some of the houses along Lake Highlands streets are already lighting up. Yep. It’s that time of year, and NorthPark is Dallas’s epicenter of high-end yuletide merriment. Beginning Sat., Nov. 22, the Ronald McDonald House Trains at NorthPark roll at Level 2 near Neiman Marcus. Last year, about 80,000 visited the exhibit — great for the charity, but not so great for those of us who hate crowds. Good news, though, the first few days of the trains, in my experience, are never quite as busy as those from post-Thanksgiving up until Christmas. Also, the Salvation Army Angel Tree is up (Nov. 14-Dec. 15). Check out more Nov./Dec. events at NorthPark here.
