This being the second to last day of school for RISD, Lake Highlands Elementary wanted to make sure the kids had – and are having – a blast. I didn’t think there was any learning going on (not that I necessarily think there should be on the second to last day of school) so I asked Principal Sullivan and her answer was, ‘You’d be surprised’.
Hard to tell from this observer, judging by the Spirit Rally this morning. And watching the 6th graders head off to Six Flags. And visiting the Pre-K Uniform Fairy Party in the courtyard. And walking with the 4th graders to the annual White Rock Skate field trip.
Gotta love LHE. Whole lotta spirit goin’ on.
