It was a Saturday; it was scorching hot; and I was craving the usual — sweets! A couple of my friends decided to take me to a yogurt place called Berry Berry on Beltline Road in Addison. Having never been to a place where sweets were actually healthy for a change was an interesting experience.
As a first-timer, the workers definitely treat you well. They gave me generous samples of their yogurt and sugar-free custard. A complete menu can be viewed by hungry eyes here. I opted for the plain yogurt with strawberry toppings — and lots of it. It was fantastic. Berry Berry was a great place to go for dessert, especially if you want something light. It made me feel better about gulping down the large sandwich I had just eaten.
The best part about pleasing my sweet tooth is the incentive for driving all the way to Addison. Beginning June 1, which was this past Sunday, Berry Berry will take $1 off any medium 8 oz single-topping order for customers who live 10 miles or more away (with ID proof of zip code, of course).
