If you’ve seen all of the dirt-moving at Skillman just north of Northwest Highway — directly west of and beneath the Home Depot — you’ve probably wondered what’s going on. The DMN sheds some light on that with a story about developer Mike Hopkins spending $1 million to haul off 4,000 truckloads of fill from the two-acre site in an effort to make it habitable for a retail site.
