This is turning out to be one of the best contests we’ve had in the couple of years that we’ve been doing this. The entries have been quite spiffy, ranging from donating the money to various political campaigns to purchasing a weed eater (which really appeals to me for some reason) to buying a baby dragon.
The rules, one more time: The person who submits the most interesting and creative use for their rebate will win, as judged by Wamre and I. Send entries here. The winner gets $50 in neighborhood restaurant gift certificates, and we’ll give $20 in gift certificates to the runner-up. Advocate employees aren’t eligible, but our volunteer bloggers are. Deadline is 5 p.m. May 14.
