Top o’ the mornin’ to ya Lake Highlanders!
Yes, I am aware from some of my Ireland-frequenting friends that people in Ireland don’t actually say that. (They should though—it’s so cheery.) But I digress. I’m trying to tell you that the North Texas Irish Festival—a weekend-long party that gets bigger and better with each passing year—starts today at Fair Park.
Vendors are setting up now and the gates open tonight at 6. Throw on your green garb and come out for a weekend full of music, food, beer, jewelers, beer, artists, beer, and lots of green stuff. Oh and from what I remember it’s a very pet friendly party so bring your pooch if you want. Here, find hours and other important info.
One more important note: Rumor has it Billary (that’s Hollywood Access for Bill and Hillary Clinton) could be crashing—they are reportedly convening at the Coliseum at 1 p.m. Saturday. WhooHoo! Here’s hoping some of the Luck o’ the Irish befalls the Clinton Campaign.
