Doctors Without Borders, that fine humanitarian medical organization that provides emergency aid to people who are affected by man-made or natural disasters, armed conflict, epidemics or exclusion from medical care has hit Dallas with its travelling refugee camp.

A Refugee Camp in the Heart of The City has set up on Flagpole Hill, at the north end of White Rock Lake Park.  It’s a working replica of an actual camp and is an eye-opening experience for all ages.  We are extremely fortunate to have this in Dallas, because the only other cities in North America to get it this year are Houston, Milwaukee, Minneapolis and Chicago.

Admission is free and it’s open from 9:00 AM thru 5:30 PM. Today and Sunday are the final 2 days.  Allow yourselves 50-60 minutes to get the full effect of the "challenges of need" that we so often have no real idea about.
